The K6 series is equipped in its standard version with an additional diesel engine, type CAT C3.6V, rated power at 2.200 rpm 75 kW (Stage 5 / Tier 4 Final), for the drive of the high-performance blower and the sweeping units. They can be mounted on any technically suitable chassis with a wheelbase of 3.275 mm or larger.

The dirt container (made entirely of stainless steel 1.4301 on request) is a self-supporting shell construction.

It is welded to a unit with the water tank installed in the bottom of the container. This design principle guarantees high stability and torsional stiffness.

The front part of the container is also the engine room. In it is the suction fan.

Details

Waste tank and engine room

  • Container volume 6 cbm, bottom plates and integrated water tank in stainless steel V2A
  • Emptying with hydraulic tipping device and retraction stage
  • Emptying flap hydraulically lockable
  • Tilt angle approx. 50° with mechanical safety support and fishing rope
  • Complete construction soundproofed with self-extinguishing mats

Sweeping and suck unit

  • sweeping unit at the right side, galvanized, suck unit 650 mm wide, inside coated with wear-resitant rubber, disc brush 700 mm diameter
  • suck unit is connected with the waste tank by a 250 mm diameter suck tube
  • pulled roller brush
  • sweeping wide 2.500 mm

Control

  • control desk left side of the driver, ergonomic and in well reach, includes hour counter, motor supervision and water control

Vehicle equipment

  • minimum 16 t total weight (depending on chassis)
  • Wheelbase at least 3.275 mm
  • reinforced frame and reinforced springs
